For those of you who know and those who don’t (see http://bit.ly/tVzOCc), my husband called me from MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston the morning of October 25, 2011 and told me the good news: All his medical tests showed no resurgence of cancer. The news was expected because of his ongoing good health; however, this kind of information once you’ve been through the cancer process makes me appreciative of good health, family and friends.
Okay – here’s the weird thing. While in Texas, my son and husband visited Six Flags Over Texas. At a game booth, my son knocked three glasses off a platform and won a Domo. Here’s a photo of it below:
The Domo is a fairly sturdy bean bag doll, approximately 2 feet high X 1 foot wide. There are different variations of it. This one looks like an x-ray or medical Domo. My son brought the Domo home to Maui from Texas for his sister. When my son’s friends came to welcome him back this past Friday, they looked at the bean bag and said, “Hey, that’s a Domo!” So, I share it with you. Has anyone seen a Domo before? Please leave a reply and, better yet, a photo and a reply at my blog page, http://www.vaonassignment.com/home.
Anyway, it’s always fun to discover something new especially as an adult. Comments are welcomed.

Praise The Lord!!! So happy to hear of Mike’s great news on his test results!!!
Way To Go, MJ ~ that Domo is surely going to be the Marzke Mascot to mark this special time for the family!!! Never heard of a Domo before, but I’ll definitely ask Tristan about it!!!
CONGRATULATIONS on your business, Laura!!! I’m so proud of YOU!!!
